The Ancient Magus' Bride Season 2
The second season of Mahoutsukai no Yome. Chise was able to accept Elias and herself, if not necessarily everything about her situation. After Cartaphilus fell back into a slumber that would not last forever, Chise was able to go back to her regular life. Then she receives an invitation from a mutual aid organization for mages called the College. Under the British Library exists a secret society of mages. Encounters and interactions with people are about to open some new doors. This is a story about saving yourself to save another. E1 - Live and Let Live. II
Chise received an invitation from a "college" where magicians' gemstones gather. Memories of the past revived, a place to belong at last. Despite her worries, Chise decides to knock on the door. I want to learn. Because it might help me or someone.
E2 - Birds of a Feather Flock Together. I
Chise joins the College as a witch and meets several special students, including Philomela, Veronica and Rian. She has her first day at the gym and sees Elias in action as an instructor.
E3 - Birds of a Feather Flock Together. II
After the first magic class taught by Elias, the wizard is taken by Renfred and Chise goes after him to try to help him. Chise meets most of her classmates who each have their own particularity, in particular Rian, who wants more than anything to learn witchcraft. But his smell of rust, detected by the creatures, does not seem to offer him this possibility.
E4 - The Cowl Does Not Make the Monk.
Chise suddenly disappears in the fog - and appears in front of Rahab's hut without Stella. Over a cup of coffee, the two talk a little about Eilas, who meanwhile has Angelica visiting.
E5 - First Impressions Are the Most Lasting.
As a new student at college, Chise quickly finds that making friends requires a bit of adjustment—and that relationships between her classmates aren't easy. Zoey also has his own particular difficulties with settling in...
E6 - Better Bend Than Break.
Alice and Chise to try and sort through their feelings on their complicated relationships with their respective masters.
E7 - Slow and Sure. I
Joy's secret discovered by chance. After sharing it, the students began to open up to each other little by little. But Chise didn't know. That the girl who happened to be there also had a fate bound to it. A nightjar that flew into the swing reminded her of her captivated heart...
E8 - Slow and Sure. II
An otherwise educational and relaxing camping trip with her classmates ends with a terrifying encounter in the shadows of the night forest, forcing Chise to rely on her own wits and abilities instead of Elias' magic.
E9 - Conscience Does Make Cowards of Us All. I
After returning from camp, Lucy is still unconscious and it's still not clear what's behind her sudden loss of strength...this worries Chise deeply.
E10 - Conscience Does Make Cowards of Us All. II
While watching over Lucy, Chise discovers her connection to Seth and their family's tragic history. While a professor seems to have been the victim of a user of a banned book, a mysterious killer seems to resurface...
E11 - A Small Leak Will Sink a Great Ship. I
Apparently, a forbidden magic book called "The Testament of Carnamagos" is being used to rob Lucy and Simeon of their magical powers. But who exactly is behind it is still unclear. Elias takes care of the matter because he fears that otherwise Chise will put herself in danger for her friend and because he himself wants to protect a friend.
E12 - A Small Leak Will Sink a Great Ship. II
It's time for family explanations, whether between Lucy and her brother, or Alice and Renfred. The College is also going through a complicated period where other magicians seem to want to harm new students.
